12/26/2003 | Tonight, we went to Quail Botanical Gardens for their holiday light display. We started out riding a horse drawn carriage (click here to see it). Aftewards, I got to meet the horses. |

12/26/2003 | Then we walked around the gardens, stoping for an accasional photo, like this one on top of the waterfall. |

12/26/2003 | After the walk, we enjoyed roasting marshmellows. Boy, were they good! |

12/26/2003 | As a final activity, I made a butterfly in the arts and crafts building. |

12/27/2003 | Today, we went to the Buena Vista Audubon Nature Center and went hiking around the lagoon. But first, Grandpa Norm and I had to check out the Great Blue Heron at the entrance. |

12/27/2003 | The hike was self guided. I was chosen to find the markers. |

12/27/2003 | Around the lagoon grew many cat tails. Here, I'm exploring one on top of Daddy's shoulders. |
